Historical Review of Jadon Rajput estates in Dholpur district of Rajasthan—–
Karauli Jadon claim descendants of Raja Dharmpal , son of Raja Tahan Pal of Tahangarh ) who have built a fort at Dholpur in A.D.1120 when he was expelled by his elder brother Haripala from Tahangarh and the clan may have had no permanent territory sofareast.Jadon Rajput have considered possessions in Dholpur in which State own 49 villages .
In Dholpur ,there were the estate of Sirmathura, Rijhoni ,and Bilowni.
The Rao of Sirmathura and the Rao of Rijhauni both are Nobles or the leading men of Dholpur State.
Sirmathura Estate—
The Sirmathura estate is situated in the extreme south-west of the Dholpur State.
Sirmathura ,is an independent fief of Karauli ,held by a junior branch.The estate of Sirmathura was held by the descendants of Mukat Rao ,a Jadon clan of Karauli State.
The Rao of Sirmathura is the head of Muktawat Jadons. The first chief Mukat Rao was the younger son of Maharaja Gopal Das of Karauli. Maharaj Mukut Rao
settled in Sir Mathura in A.D.1570 and established Sirmathura as an independent territory however Sirmathura came under Dholpur state in the 19th century (it ranked 1st in the Order of Precedence in the Dholpur Darbar). Sirmathura sometimes referred to as Sirmuttra, Sarmuttra or Sarmathra, covered an area of 400 sq. kms, 32 villages and generated a revenue of Rs 1,50,000 in the late 19th century.The Rao pays an annual quit rent of Rs.2500 and one Lakh as Nazarana on investiture.
The Rao of Sir Mathura and Jhiri is recognizes the maharaj as head of the house ,through the whole of his estate has ,after a prolonged investigation ,been decided to be in Dholpur territory.

The relations of Rao Manohar Singh with Dadar satisfactory.Sirmathura ,which pay a quite-rent to the Dholpur State ,but is independent of the state as far as administration is concerned.The thakur lived in his fort on their own lands.They managed their own dominions with title interference ,imparted justice and collected their taxes.The present

The Rao Madan Singh is 15th in decent from Mukut Rao .The taluka of Sir Mathura is situated in the expreme South-west Of Dholpur , it comprises 33 villages , with an area of 175 square miles of which one-fifth only is culturable ,the rest is a waste of rocks and ravines .The revenue of the estate is about Rs.70,000, but the property is heavily encumbered and is under the managment of the Darbar. The rao is allowed to manage his own estate under the general control of the Dholpur darbar, to which he pays an annual quite rent of Rs. 20,000 , with a fine on investiture of a new Rao of one Lakhs of rupees . In 1828,Rao Madan Singh to carry out their obligations to the Dholpur Darbar , on each occasion they were , after a stub born on fight, reduced submission by taoops sent from darbar.
16-Rao Ranjeet Singh, 1883 AD -1922 A.D, educated at Mayo College Ajmer, married 1stly Rani Gaudji, daughter of The Raja of Shivgarh, married 2ndly Rani Narukiji, daughter of Rao Raja of Uniara.
17- Rao Gopal Singh 1922 AD – 1932 AD.
18-Rao Raghubir Singh(1932-1986A.D)
On the death Rao Gopal Singh without an heir in December 1932 .
Raghubir.Singh was selected by the Dholpur Darbar as successor to the estate and was installed as Rao on the 25th December 1932.He holds the first place in the State.
Rao Raghuveer Singh was married with Rani Rattan Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Gopal Singh of Badnore.
19-Rao Narendra Singh, born 30th June 1947, succeeded as the 19th Rao of Sirmathura in 1986.He is
married with Rajkumari Sunita Kumari, daughter of Raja Rajendra Singh & Rani Tara Devi of Baghal(H.P).
Rajkumari Kiran Kumari, married Lt. Col. Manakya Dev Chand Katoch of Lambagraon – Kangra.
Kanwar Abhiyudaya Chand Katoch, married Kanwarani Priyanjali Kumari.
Kumari Himani Katoch married Virat Sjb Rana
Rajkumar Hemendra Singh, married Kanwarani Meenakshi Kumari from Kapren, Bundi.

Rajkumar Surendra Singh, married Kanwarani Smriti Singh from Panched.
Kumari Ambika Singh, married Kunwar Anirudh Singh of Oel.
Rao Narendra Singh, born 30th June 1947, succeeded as the 19th Rao of Sirmathura in 1986, educated at Mayo College, Ajmer & St Johns College, Agra.
Rao Narendra Singh, born 30th June 1947 .He is Married with Rani Sunita Kumari, daughter of Raja Rajendra Singh of Baghal (HP) & Rani Tara Devi of Baghal (HP).
Rijhouni and Bilouni Estates—
The estates of Rijhauni and Bilauni were held by the Jadons of Sirmathura family.Thakur Dalel Singh of Rijouni and Thakur Durjan Singh and Zalim Singh ,zamindars of Bilouni both near Sirmathura border .All belongs basically Sirmathura jadon family. Rao Bhup Singh of Rijouni was also a scion of the Karauli family .He succeeded his father in 1832 and was thirty -three years of age .The Rao was educated at the Mayo College Ajmer .He has one son , aged ten years and a brother , both named Bhamorji .The first Rijhouni pays the state a head -rent of Rs.1660 to the Darbar, yield a revenue of Rs.5, 000 . It is in debt.Difficulties have also from time to time arisen between these Thakurs and the Darbar on account of their contumacy.Both requestrated , since 1863 ,however they have given no trouble.Rao Mahendra of Rijhauni is a scion of the Karauli family .He was borned in 1890 and successed his father in 1905.
1-Taluquas Sirmathura -consisting 32 villages.
2-Rijhauni estate consisting 7or 5 villages.
3-Bilauni estate consisting 9 villages.
The Rao of Sirmathura and the Thakur of Rijhouni holds their 39villages from the Rans at a quite -rent .The state has not renounced it’s right to enhance the tanka or quite-rent collected from them ,but practically it is not enhanced as long as the taluqdars adhere to their agreement with Dholpur Darbar.All the villages of these taluquas are hold from thetaluqudars in zamindari “Gol “tenure .The land is not divided among several owners.
Jadon Rajputs of Atar in Gwalior who also hold lands in the Gwalior territory.
